Amendments related to introduction of new bid products
As of 16 March 2016, amendments related to the introduction to the Elspot day-ahead market of new bid products, Exclusive Groups and Flexible Orders, will be implemented in Nord Pool’s Rule Book. This concerns:
• Trading Appendix 1 – Definitions
• Trading Appendix 2a – Elspot Market Regulations
• Trading Appendix 3 – Product Specifications
The changes and amendments related to new bid products are specified in the enclosed presentation
Amendments as a result of Nord Pool’s name change
Nord Pool changed its name from Nord Pool Spot AS to Nord Pool AS in January 2016. In connection with this name change, Nord Pool has updated its Rule Book so that all references to “Nord Pool Spot AS” and “NPS” have been replaced by “Nord Pool AS” and “Nord Pool” respectively. At the same time, Nord Pool has taken the opportunity to make certain other typographical/editorial changes to correct inconsistencies and errors.
Existing members do not need to take any action in connection with the amendments that have been made - there will be no need to amend or re-sign any existing agreements. All new agreements, however, will be entered into in the revised form.
The revised Rule Book may be found here
A redlined mark-up of the relevant documents showing the changes made is found here
Please note that the redline mark-up versions only show editorial changes, not the change of name.
The new Rule Book will take effect from 15 March 2016.
