Announcing the new brand, Stina Johansen, Director of Communications at Nord Pool, said: “This change in our name and brand is a natural evolution that plays to Nord Pool’s established strengths – innovation, partnership and a dedication to customer care. “At Nord Pool we are very proud of our heritage and what we have achieved in our 20 years of existence, but we take nothing for granted and recognise that we operate in a rapidly changing world. “Though we have a new name and a new brand some things, such as our absolute commitment to efficient, simple, straight-through trading for all our customers, regardless of their size or where they trade from, will not change.
“We look forward to serving our customers, new and established in the same way we have always done – with pride, care and passion.”
