CASS - Invoicing Made Simpler
To further improve our proven clearing and settlement system (CASS) Nord Pool is always looking at ways to make our customers’ lives easier. Customers active in more than one European Union country can now benefit from receiving one daily invoice for all trading in the EU, instead of invoicing at individual country level.

A Decade of Baltic Power
This summer saw 10 years since the Baltic Energy Market Interconnection Plan (BEMIP) was signed between the eight Baltic Sea states and the European Commission, with the aim of better connecting Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to wider EU energy networks.
Today, the Baltic electricity market design has been agreed, based on the Nordic electricity market model pioneered by Nord Pool, to end the isolation of Baltic States as an ‘energy island’, and an Action Plan setting out practical steps to achieve the new market model in conformity with EU internal electricity market rules, has been proposed.
Based on the agreed market design model Nord Pool opened Baltic price areas in Estonia in 2010, in Lithuania in 2012 and in Latvia 2013 and, with our dedicated Baltic region market manager, Ingrid Arus, we are always looking at ways to further support the business of our Baltic area customers.

Sign Up to E-Signature Trial
Nord Pool has begun a limited trial of e-signatures (a quick and easy digital means to obtain consent or approval on electronic documents and forms) for some of our products and services.
E-signatures can replace traditional handwritten signatures, on for example, contracts and application forms.
We will be trialling Adobe Sign with the aim of speeding up our processes, making life easier for customers and, ultimately, using less paper.
To participate in our no-obligation trial, contact: support@nordpoolgroup.com.
