REMIT transaction reporting service
Our REMIT transaction reporting service makes compliance simple and straightforward.
We offer REMIT services for customers using Nord Pool as their RRM, customers using a third party RRM and for reporting of bilateral contracts.
ACER REMIT fees
The European Commission is introducing fees to cover the costs of REMIT related activities such as collecting, handling, processing and analysing information performed by ACER.
The decision took effect 1 January 2021.
What is REMIT transaction reporting?
Market participants are required by REMIT Article 8 to provide ACER with a record of their wholesale energy market transactions through a selected Registered Reporting Mechanisms (RRM).
Nord Pool, in the role of both an Organised Market Place and an RRM, offers a dedicated REMIT Transactions Reporting Service. Our service provides automated reporting of contracts traded on Nord Pool day-ahead and intraday markets directly to the ARIS system, simply and efficiently meeting all obligations under REMIT.

REMIT portal
Through the REMIT portal, users will be able to access their reported data and the respective ACER receipts on a trading portfolio level, as well as gain oversight of the overall reporting process.
Access our REMIT Portal directly through https://remit.nordpoolgroup.com/.
Important to know
Nord Pool has taken up multiple quality assurance procedures as an RRM. This allows us to handle different kinds of error situations. We would kindly ask you to take into account the following:
- ACER has not specified how quickly they will send a receipt back to the RRM on received data - so it is possible that it can take some time before reported data is approved.
- If an error should occur in the service - please notify Nord Pool at remit.support@nordpoolgroup.com immediately. Nord Pool will as soon as possible start working to resolve any problems. In regards to reporting transactions data, the member should not do anything other than notify Nord Pool.
- If an error occurs – this might be with the receiving end (i.e. ARIS or 3rd party RRM), in which case Nord Pool will wait for the error to be resolved and continue on a normal basis afterwards.
Note that all transactions at Nord Pool day-ahead and intraday markets will be reported automatically to ACER on a daily basis regardless if users access the REMIT Portal or not. The REMIT portal gives you an overview of the reporting process as well as access to the reported data should you need to do so.
