1. Introduction to power market regulation
This part dives into the two main regulations governing the European power market: the regulation of wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT) and the transparency regulation. We further explain the different types of mandatory data to be reported and published by market participants to comply with the transparency regulation.

Details the prohibition of insider trading and the obligation to publish inside information. We get you familiar with the Nord Pool REMIT UMM platform for disseminating Urgent Market Messages (UMM), and how it facilitates regulatory compliance.
3. Market manipulation
REMIT prohibits market manipulation – we explain what is and what is not allowed in the market. We will go into specific market manipulation types prohibited and present case law.
4. REMIT for algorithmic trading
People using algorithmic trading solutions face new regulations with REMIT II. We outline key requirements for algorithmic traders and present how to be compliant.
5. REMIT for balancing markets
