REMIT workshop on capacity hoarding

Nord Pool has organised a full-day workshop in Copenhagen on Wednesday 20 June, examining the recently published ACER Guidance Note on the application of REMIT to transmission capacity hoarding.

The workshop will:

  • Detail how the guidance note applies in practice – implications for market participants trading in the intraday market;
  • Discuss best practice for avoiding a breach of REMIT;
  • Work through potential cases – what are the considerations made to assess if a case is market manipulation?

It includes presentations by the Agency for Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), Danish Energy Regulatory Authority (DERA), Nord Pool’s dedicated Market Surveillance experts, and Vattenfall AB.
