Dear member,
In preparation for the upcoming clock change on Sunday 25th March 2018, Nord Pool will be offering a test simulation of our trading platforms in the member test environment on Tuesday 13th – Wednesday 14th March.
The transition from standard time to summer time takes place by setting the clock one hour forward at 02:00 CET on Sunday 25th March. Therefore Sunday 25th will have 23 hours. We encourage customers to use this test to actively place orders and check the results to ensure they are familiar with the process.
Auction platforms test
On Tuesday 13th March, we will run auctions for the day-ahead and GB half hour auction with delivery day 25th March. The test environments are open for bids from today until gate closure time (see below). Please choose delivery date 25th March in the platform and deliver your bids as usual. If you deliver bids via Excel sheets, please remember to download the template for 25th March.
Test times 13th March:
14:00 CET Gate closure time for day-ahead and GB half hour
15:30 CET Publication of results
Please note that gate closure times for both auction platforms has been set to 14:00 CET for this test. CASS results will be available in the member test environment the following day.
Intraday platform test
On Wednesday 14th March, the intraday platform will be time traveled to 24th March + 12 hours. This means that 14:00 CET 14th March simulates 02:00 CET 25th March. This is done to make it easier to perform trades in the affected time slots.

08:00 CET Intraday platform opens
24:00 CET Intraday platform closes
CASS results will be available in the member test environment the following day.
