Prior to Brexit Nord Pool informed members of a change to the Price Threshold Limits as an additional safety mechanism for market participants in the initial days of operation of the N2EX auction.
We have kept these thresholds under continuous review and as a result of current market conditions in GB, Nord Pool have decided to increase the limits back to the pre-Brexit price thresholds.
Current Price Thresholds:
- Maximum Price Threshold: GBP/£750
- Minimum Price Threshold: GBP/£-150
New Price Thresholds:
- Maximum Price Threshold: GBP/£1500
- Minimum Price Threshold: GBP/£-150
These new price thresholds will take effect from Trading Date 12th January
We will continue to keep these thresholds under review and inform members accordingly should any further changes be needed.
