During the SIDC service break, Nord Pool will offer a local backup solution allowing our members to trade intraday within the local delivery areas.
New local contracts will replace SIDC contracts and members can immediately place new orders in the same way as before.
Order and trade IDs for the local backup solution are given prefix "I" instead of "X" to allow members to differentiate between the two solutions. Apart from the prefix there are no noticeable differences for intraday users.
The backup solution runs on Nord Pool’s local platform and is independent of SIDC’s central systems. Once SIDC (XBID) central platform opens, Nord Pool will close backup solution and all orders on backup solution will be deactivated.
Backup solution applies to all SIDC (XBID) markets where Nord Pool operates.
Members might experience disconnection during the maintenance period. In case a member is disconnected, they should try to re-login to the Intraday platform.
